You should do your 20 page essay on Romeo and Juliet instead.

Ridge Racer is fun when you first buy it, with it's high speed cars, cool music, and easy learning curve. It's also not too hard, so you wont just give up on i right away and throw it somewhere on your floor, (thats where all my stuff goes.) But after playing the game for a while, you would almost rather do the 20 page essay on William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet that your teacher assigned over spring break. The game gets way too easy, with the drift physics feeling like you are swinging on a rope that is attached to the inside corner, and the final, FINAL, races that you unlock being way to hard, with the 1/100 and less chance it says it is seeming as if you have a better chance of winning the lottery.
The physics in Ridge Racer arn't as good as they say either. after playing this game for a while, you may notice that you can drift around corners without having to worry about which way your $200,000 car is facing. Your car could be completely sideways, and you would still go down the middle of the road without hitting anything. But when you do somehow manage to hit something, it feels like you just bounced off some rubber. I'm not sure but i think when you slam into a wall at 200 mph, you would need to fix some dents that were just impaled into your car.
After playing this game, you would of wished that you spent your time on your essay and pass the 9th grade, rather than experience what happens when physics turn bad. Only get this if you are an extreme ridge racer fan, or can get your parents to do your homework.
