I think Rhythm Heaven is a good game. As a music game, it incorporates funny animations from a glee club to singing stones to robots, making it pleasing to the eye (at times distracting). However, I found it difficult as I progressed. Truth be told, I just got to remix 2, but I found it hard at that point. Maybe I just didn't have the patience for the game, but I did find it fun and entertaining. It's a very amusing game and will not disappoint many gamers looking for a nice music game. You're able to repeat levels as often as you'd like till you move onto the next level, but at times this is frustrating, especially after how many repeats.
This game is unlike anything I've played, however. It has unique visuals which I appreciate; Nintendo took a different approach to a music game and made each level aesthetically and musically different, though in the similar vein of music and beats.
I suggest before you take the plunge and buy the game for $30+, rent it and try it out the first few levels. If you find yourself liking it that much, I think it is a worthwhile purchase.
