You're better off with Resident Evil 4 or 5. Not this.
First of all the camera is APPAULING, you have no control over it whatsoever and leaves you blind as you turn around corners and can be extremely irritating when taking on groups of zombies (which is disappointing too!)
Next the music isn't the best, it didn't have me scared or on the edge of my seat and i didn't feel like i had to run for my life any second soon.
Gameplay is poor, when you start a level (you can choose any level when you start, including the last one) you are infected with the virus, and theres no way to stop it. You start at 0% and you have about 45 - 60 minutes before it goes all the way to 100% but it increases if you run or get bitten by a zombie. So pretty much you have a timer to finish the mission.
Fighting opponents is not fun whatsoever and left me bored. There was plentiful hand gun ammo and i didn't feel like i was in peril when a useless zombie stumbled towards me. The only moment i ever felt in peril was when that giant zombie elephant chased me (which is invicible by the way and you have to find a way to get rid of it) and my bullets were useless to it.
AI is ridiculously bad. At one point in the game my two partners were with me and we were under attack from a zombie hyena. I was limping and my character was slow. In the game you can call commands and i was shouting for help as i was out of ammo. My partners being the idiots they were, one stood uselessly and the other held me and carried me towards safety, with the hyena behind him. Needless to say he got killed and eventually after screaming for help too many times my partner killed the hyena. Leaving just me and him alone.
You rarely encounter large masses of zombies and mainly fight the two or three at once, while your partners run around pathetically in circles.
This game is insanely boring and when you turn off the game you do not want to go back to it, well at least i didn't. It's that bad.
Don't waste your money on this, even in a bargain bin, but if you're desperate to try it then rent it. Just don't get ripped off there either.
