The return of everybody's favorite Lombax and his robot sidekick

Let me start out by saying that this is my first Ratchet and Clank game. Graphically this game is beautiful. Yes the textures aren't hi resolution, but that doesn't stop the game from being gorgeous. The sound in the game is amongst the best I have heard for quite some time. The gameplay is second to none with the perfect mixture of shooting and platforming. The story of the game was easy for me to get into even though I had no previous knowledge about the PS2 games. Once I started playing this game, I found i very difficult to stop playing which is saying a lot because I generally can't play the same game for long periods of time. My main issue with the game is how easy it is. There was never a part in the game where I had to keep retrying it because I just couldn't get it and that includes the final boss. The story ends on a cliffhanger and kept me wanting more. Insomniac did an awesome job implementing the gravity into the game. I would recommend this to any fan of platformers. The shooting elements are a little too overdone for me to really recommend it to shooter fans, but it is a game that should be checked out by anyone who has any interest in the best platformer on the PS3 at it's time of release.
