This is an excellent offroad racer, every aspect of it is nicely done, but lacking in the offline multiplayer department

After downloading the demo from PSN, I decided to purchase this as it was extremely fun. It turned out to be one of my better purchases, and I can honestly say you won't regret buying this. The thing that you notice first of all when playing is the high standards of the graphics and the nice track layouts. There are many routes to take around a track, and lot's of different places to get airbourne. One thing that makes Pure a bit different is the tricks you can do, and there are quite a lot of them, and you also gain a power boost when you have completed tricks, or you can use this energy to do harder tricks.

Onto the vehicles and what's great about this is, you can customise basically anything about your atv. You can choose the engine, paint scheme, all the way down to the shock absorbers. There are also a number of different characters in the game you can use as riders, and they all have a different set of tricks to use, and usually two or three different outfits.

The main game is about racing through various events and tickets, there a three different types of races, sprint, race and freestyle. Sprint is a mad dash around a small track to see who comes out on top, Race is usually a couple of laps long and consist of larger tracks and big air jumps to gain boost and points, and Freestyle if basically who can get the most trick points in a certain time.

The online multiplayer adds to the game and this is easy to access and also interesting to see other players vehicle creations. The only thing lacking in this games is an offline multiplayer feature, but other then that this is a fantastic game and one every offroad and racing fan should own, I give it 9/10.
