Outrageous stunts while racing prove it is pure fun

I am not really keen on racing games, but the off road genre seems to appeal much more to me. But for this off road game there is more than just winning. There is plenty of crazy, and impossible, stunts to pull off. And I think it is safe to say "Don't try this at home!"
There is various and interesting tracks, the graphics are good, and the handling is easy to master.
There is 3 events to choose from and a world tour that unlocks more tracks. The best in my opnion is the straight-forward race. And just like all other games of the genre, the idea is to win. But to do this there are somethings you need to know. You have to earn boost, and to do that you hit air and complete a stunt. There are basic stunts, intermediate stunts, expert, and then the ultimate special trick. As you progress, the stunts get harder, meaning you need to get some serious air to pull them off. If you do, you are rewarded, with more boost. But the boost also diminishes the skill level of stunt you can perform, so you boost wisely. If you crash during a stunt then you lose some boost and the ability for that stunt, except the basic trick.
The others are freestyle, where you string together combos, and try to get the highest score, and Speed events, where you are on a small circuit, and boost is the key to winning.
In the world tour, you progress with points, and unlock harder tracks. But you also gain new parts for your ATV. You can build an ATV from scratch, and as you win races, the rewards are crucial to future success. In this I mean that you might get a new upgraded engine, which increases your max speed, or more wheel axis to increase the handling of your vehicle. You choose colours, and call it a name.
There is some great fun to be had with Pure, but AI prove annoying and troublesome at later stages, which can mean that you get purely frustrated and lose enjoyment. Also to perform some of the stunts, the controls prove very tricky, as you have to move one way on the left analog stick and press either one of the stunt buttons. And when you have a few seconds in the air, you can find yourself messing up.
