@mattykovax: Have they taken channels/videos down for gameplay footage before? I've seen lots of channels with Zelda gameplay, frequently with ads on them as well... Does it have to do with how new the game is or if it's an upcoming game or something?

@Jaysonguy: Just an honest question. No need to get upset about it. If there's a different forum that's better suited for this topic I'd be happy to move to it instead.

I think that might be a good way to set my channel apart-talking more about Zelda in general beyond just the guide, hopefully to encourage people to watch the whole thing and such.

Thanks for the response trugs26! I appreciate it. :)

Nintendo systems tend to be pretty consistent in my opinion, but I'm looking into a 3DS more than a Wii U right now, largely because it's been out longer and therefore has a better game selection. Ocarina of Time, Link Between Worlds, Pokemon X/Y/Ruby/Sapphire, and as the commenter above said, if they're doing more Fire Emblem on 3DS I'd like to check that out too.

Seems like this is all personal preference, but when I get the financial opportunity to do so (and maybe once the Wii U gets a price cut), I'll be getting one no question. I think Nintendo pretty consistently has some of the best games around, whatever the critics may say. I have a Wii and love Mario Galaxy, the Zelda games (of course!), Metroid Prime 3, Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition, the No More Heroes games, Okami, Smash Bros., Mario Kart... Etc. etc. I also owned a PS3 but sold it. The Final Fantasy XIII games, God of War III, Deus Ex, inFamous, Metal Gear Solid 4, the Uncharted games, and the Resident Evil games were the big draws for me, but none (other than Metal Gear Solid, to be fair) held a candle to how much pure fun I have playing Nintendo games. I feel like this comment could cause a big argument, but I just think Nintendo is much better at making fun games than their competition. What they need to do is start drawing in third party developers more!

As such, when I get a Wii U, Wind Waker HD (with its much improved graphics and Triforce collecting, from what I hear), Mario 3D World, Mario Kart, Smash Bros., and Bayonetta will probably be at the top of my list. I might look into the Assassin's Creed games too, I've heard good things about them, and I believe 3 and 4 are on Wii U now?

Anyway, if you don't own a Wii U it's hard to say. The same goes for me, truth be told, but I've always had a good experience with Nintendo since the Game Boy/N64 days, so that's who I'll stick with.

Hey everyone, I'm new to Gamespot and am curious about how much people use Let's Play videos on Youtube here for game guides. I'm speaking in particular to guides on the Zelda series (hence choosing the Nintendo forum to post this). I've started a Youtube channel for Zelda game guides, which I ultimately want to organize by the Zelda timeline, and thought I'd ask if anyone is interested or has any advice.

My guide is on www.youtube.com/zeldahistoria if you want to check it out. Thanks!
