Hopefully they'd find it suiting to make a game based on Drakengard 1.3 after Automata.
MOAR CAIM AND ANGELUS.

@syntaxkt:
A simple Google told me that it was some small cleavage / underboob that was censored out.... and changing the whole 'Native American' look of some job class into a 'Cowboy' look for some reason or the other.
The former I (somewhat) understand but the latter is your standard case of localisation stupidity.

"we've made a decision not to push things too far. It's not the sort of game that's violent for violence's sake, or particularly trying to push the boundaries in that sense."

So essentially, we still don't have a major developer that has the sufficient balls to do anything heavy when it comes to plot elements and storytelling. (Unless it's a niche title like Drakengard but heck, half of the plot was censored by the localisation babies anyway and none of the later spin-offs / titles relatively came close to how messed up it was)

@IIIMatricksIII:
To be fair, the whole "Early Access / Patreon" gimmick does spawn some pretty decent games from the indie circle since it allows them to raise enough money / recognition for their works.

On the other hand, it's also a system that's widely exploited by cashgrabbing parasites and whiny wannabes that finds it more suiting to whine about their lives on the development blog than spend more time fixing their already broken game.

You know, I've seen too many darned claims of 'Chrono Trigger inspired' RPGs to have any faith in this - even if it's from the very same company that produced Chrono Trigger.
Most of the dudes that has the 'magic touch' of producing fascinating RPGs have already left Square or were shoved into some minor department.

I've seen their attempts at 'reviving the classic RPG feel' before and that was Bravely Default.
It wasn't a bad game per say but it honestly tries too hard to be an old-school FF RPG and it shows.

The game flunked on Steam (and honestly, it showed tons of promise when it first came out... as usual with Steam games) so the developer's obviously trying to cash in on the console dudes with a bad port.

Same reason U-be-soft keeps releasing their crap games on a yearly basis.
Established titles have a large fanbase that they could easily profit off from and as long as there are suckers out there buying (and defending it), nothing would change.

Well.... there's Extreme VS.
Not a conventional fighter but it's pretty good.

"Marisa Tomei as Aunt May"

Uhhh.... well, maybe if she's playing as the Aunt May in the horrible non-canon issues of "Trouble".

The role would be 2deep4her.

They really should've just auditioned for the role - sometimes a new face / talent is all it takes to bring a movie to new heights.
Furthermore, it's obvious that they're just thinking somewhere along the lines of 'Which actress has the body to pull off the role' instead of 'Which actress has the character to pull off the role'.

I'm also not buying the whole "Yoshiba had visited the movie's New Zealand set, and that he was "impressed by the respect" being shown for the source material."
I'm skeptical that we'd get another Death Note-level live adaptation.
