Sounds like the blu ray drive could be gone. You could try and replace it with another one i have done this myself hopefully its not the control board thats the risks you run. Granted i did this when the PS3 did cost alot more so it could be more cost effective to replace the complete unit.

You can get the control boards and drives off ebay they are simple to replace aswell. You can find guides to do this also
