COH 1 was on the western front, so the faction are US/wehrmacht. Singleplayer campaign are US only.

Expansion1: Opposing force adds 2 faction UK/Panzer. Singleplayer campaign for both british and Panzer corps. Adds AI challenge game mode.

Expansion2:Tales of valor has no new faction but add several more varity of infantry and vehicles for commander customization. 3 short singleplayer campaigns and 2 multiplayer game mode

COH2 is on the eastern front, germans vs soviet. Campaign only spans for the soviets, and challenge mode "theater of war" have both soviet and german short "campaign"

In short, COH2 is a refine version of COH1 with some eastern front flavor into the mix. Its much focus on multiplayer aspects than singleplayer

If you are new to the series, pick up COH1 and the following expansion since they are relatively cheap on steam. Once you are done with it, pick up COH2. COH2 is a much better built for multiplayer.

1. go to your journal (UP), 2. scroll to the building management 3. look at the bottom of the building plan and you will see 4-8 boxes that are your outpost (depending on the amount of outpost build) 4. select the outpost that you dont need, and then the info above will be updated with that outpost info. 5. select delete outpost from that tab NOTE: outpost arrangement are from left to right (old to newer outpost)

yes they are finite as most of the resources in the game are. However after progressing thru the main storyline, there will be 1 person who could help you restock every 24hr.

for example, i'm at the church and i got this tip that a random guy was missing. how do i take that mission? or do i just have to look around hoping i might find him? do i have to talk to someone for a lead?

also...

in the first part at the cabin there was a hurt girl. and it seemed like i needed to find medicine for her which i had a couple of painkillers and stuff, but i couldnt hand them to her, and after a while she died or something... was it my fault? how was i supposed to give her the medicine?

irotinmyskin

Post patch:

as for missing person, wait for a hint from lily to confirm the location of the missing surivor. Open your map and locate the icon with "missing survive". Head over there as quickly and rescue him/her - i believe the mission last for 1 day (IRL 1 hr) or else that person will be dead.

First part of the cabin is called ranger station, that area is a tutorial section where those people are supose to die. You could comeback to that location to visit it again

And outposts, I have no idea how they are supposed to be a supply cache works!

ROCKNROLLCOWB0Y
outpost: 1. supply locker will be deploy at the building and it allow player to restock/rearm your characters inventory 2. Creating a safe zone by prevent any zeds from spawning in that zone - several well position outpost will decrease zeds activity in the area. 3. able to upgrade with fire traps to destroy incoming zombie horde or anything that is within the vicinity, 4. Resource boost - each outpost depending on the building type will generate +1 resource /day.

How do you take out the Jugger with a vehicle? I'm trying to get the achievement for killing the freak zombies with a car. He's the only one left. I completely destroyed 4 vehicles continually ramming one and it wouldn't die.

nm15

i m not particular sure that different cars having different damage. As far i know it only require 2 rams "in a sucession" from most vehicles. First ram will stun it, and 2nd ram will finished it.

So far i have not seen any detail tutorials. here this is some of my guess: wrench = durability (yes, guns do wear and tear) speaker = weapon silenced? (Y/N) ((())) = the loudness of the weapon when fired gun = reload speed crosshair = scoped? (Y/N) As far as upgrade goes, it can only be attached with silencer, every other function has to be from the gun itself. Note that silencer will break after certain number of shots

you meant juggernaut/Big Un? As far as the special zombies, juggernaut are the hardest to dispatch and you have to constantly keep an eye on him and dodge his oncoming charge attack. So far the easiest option would be ramming him with a vehicle, get out and finish him with (RB) + (Y) or ram him twice with the vehicle while sacrificing that vehicle in the process. Player have about 5* sec to active execution on him when its under "stun"/"down" condition. Other options: 1. Shoot the head x5 with pistol or x3 with 7.56 rifle - works well in a barricaded house since it cant get inside buildings* (some cases he could get it) 2. Melee - involves well timed dodge (B) to side when he is charging towards you. Juggernaut will be tired after the charge, now its a good time to hit him with a melee weapon (Heavy weapon deal the most damage, followed by blunt and edge). If you managed to deal sufficient damage (Heavy 1-2 hits/ blunt 3-5 hits / edge 4-7 hits*) he will be in a brief "stun"/"down" state when he is crouching down, then quickly perform the execution move. If he manage to get up, back off as he will perform a AOE ground slam and perform the next charge. If its done properly you will dispatch him in a mere 6 sec. *NOTE: If you are planing to melee juggernaut, always bring 1 melee weapon (prefer blunt), 1 painkiller, 2 snack bars, 2 petrol bomb (for zed crowd control).

Overwatch only fires once enemy is on the move (exception of Support - Reaction fire skill). All overwatch has a penalty of -10? aim on top of your regular aim percentage (except for Sniper - overwatch skill). Generally overwatch is used for covering blindspot (out of line of sight) at mid/close range which is extremely useful in CQC especially inside of Large alien spacecraft. Out in the openfield Overwatch is useless (except a LT. Sniper)

Alternatively, overwatch could be use "bait & kill" to great advantage. 1 example of effective use of overwatch will be against "berserker", by positioning your overwatch units at a blindspot facing the intended path of the enemy, bait 1 of your units by firing at it.
