@brownyyy: Not being able to play the game that doesn't have, for any random reason, connection to internet is completely idiotic, unless the game has specifically online mechanics, like an mmo. That's a lot worse for a console. Oh, sure, it doesn't affect you when you're bathing in internet, but it only takes a stupid rat to f up the nearest box and you can wait up to weeks for the company to send someone. Pray that never happens to you.

This was the most cringeworthy article I've ever read on GameSpot. That's saying much.

No, don't do that! If the people at Sony Pictures are trying to find ways to go bankrupt, I guess they're on the good path to it. To whom is this movie going to cater? Children? They barely know who Sonic is? Grown-ups with nostalgia? I know all I'm left with is a stupid nickname. No one really cares about Sonic anymore (except maybe those crappy creepypasta nuts). Hell, Sega doesn't even care about Sonic? I guess it's cheaper to make a live action animation mix, but they might be better off with some new IP. I'm just saying. A cartoony Sonic the mutant hedgehog will not blend well with live action, the same way you don't make create a romance between >it< and a human. Are we frikin insane? At least Ubisoft got the right idea with Rayman. When your character is, from a realistical point of view, a damn freak with levitating limbs, you keep it in the realm of fantasy.

Come on, we're not stupid. No, really, Ubisoft, we're not stupid! The game doesn't look bad, it looks pretty damn good in fact, but it's not nearly as good as it was advertised way back. Indeed, late trailers and pre-views showed the game for what it was, and the graphics look just as good as, say, Watch Dogs. And it has performance issues. I got framerate drops inside buildings, which can be probably explained because there's a lot of crammed details. As for the game, it's a third person shooter mmo set in a modern New York. Big deal for whoever cares.

@livedreamplay: That there is so obviously a hastily concocted ending for a rushed concept. I bet that was not the originally intended end for the game. Not saying that Metal Gear made much sense in terms of story since Metal Gear Solid 1, but this is just outright misleading. Doesn't it prove that this "recruit" is basically just as good as Snake? Then what makes Big Boss so goddamn special? We've seen him in Ground Zeroes. Seriously, what makes him more special than this recruit? Smarts?

That's a whole lotta cash going into marketing for a game that's clearly not going to have a good release day. Go suck a duck, Square Enix.

@cboye18: Peter Brown's a douche! There! And he's a duplicitous douche too! Mad Max and Batman Arkham games can be frikin difficult when you get ovewhelmed by enemies. If Peter Brown likes to play at kiddie difficulty, that's his goddamn business, and you people eat it like it's chocolate. Just play the damn games and make your own damn minds. You will find the counter mechanic is pretty balanced and even one failed counter can take a chunk from your hp, in both of those games. Play the frikin games on harder difficulties, and stop frikin lying that you spam attacks and dodges and you finished the games doing that, because I know for a fact you can't do that with those guys with electric batons or the ones with the shields.
