A copy of Ico and Shadow of the Colossus for the PS3 would probably cost atleast $100 so Sony is actually saving people that wants those games money. :P

A really good example of propaganda and people not reading(although I might have it wrong). The only quote in which Ted Price says anything about being the best in is the amount of work put into the spu. He never said that he makes the best games for ps3 and I doubt h ever would . The rest of the interview with egm is really interesting but I've read all 5-6 pages of it and he never says that Insomniac is the flat out best dev for the ps3. But if you look at how many quality games they realease in the time that they release they are one of the most efficiant ones for sure.

Online and Offline co-op is confirmed by James Stevenson (Insomniac Community Manager).

The story is more than just finding a cure but he isn't saying anything...

"it's totally the continuation of the story..... the world is shattered, the Chimera have basically won... and now its about survival and something very much in particular.

The main thing is, Capelli isn't going to NYC to save Jack or get him the Hale Vaccine. That vaccine widely exists in 1957 amongst survives. He has other reasons that will be made more clear later." is what he said on their forums adressing the story.

He confirmed the weapon wheel

Splitscreen Online w/ additional psn ids - TBD

# of player in online multiplayer- TBA

Reason for cutting out alt. story co-op - "This is all about focus, and ensuring that everything in the game is the absolute best it can be. Really tough call, but it's what's best for the campaign and competitive. Moving co-op back to the campaign allows us to focus on campaign even more."
This is also talked about on their latest podcast about an Resistance 2 Retrospect. They think the made the scale and the scope so big that they couldn't give the game the full polished feel that they wanted to.

He also said that there will be multiplayer maps from around the world that will give us an idea of where and how the chimera are attacking. These locations will be mentioned on the radio in the single player

Keep in mind the game has a 3 year work cycle. There is still going to be more to come. Maybe they'll make another co-op mode.

The Resistance 3 forum on Insomniac's website has a lot interesting opinions and good info. It's where James Stevenson shares the most info too so I reccomend it. Its responses are pretty slow though

I have it and although I haven't beaten it yet (Im switching between 3 different games at once) I know that after I beat it I'll play it again just for the story(please no spoilers). The multiplayer is also pretty fun but you should probably wait for the goty edition with all the dlc

I'm not trying to hijack the topic and I'm pretty sure some other users have my question. So my ipod touch broke(2nd gen) about 6 months ago and now I'm just using an ipod classic. Should I get the 4g ipod touch or just wait until the psp2 is released because I loved my psp(until it was stolen...not the best luck with handhelds)?
and as long as there is atleast one new battlefront game for the psp2 and a few other strategy games, maybe valkyrie chronicles, and atleast the same amount of ps3 psp2 integration if not more, I will get it unless it's more than $250.

Im not really interested in the 3ds, I've had a ds for over 2 years and the only game i bought was heartgold but other than that nothing really caught my interest.

So what do you guys think?

But you have to remember that in order to play multiplayer you have to pay 50$ which makes it $250 for a 360 with 4gb harddrive. For $50 more you can get a ps3 with more than 120gb. I'm not saying live isn't worth it Im just saying it's needed for multiplayer. And the new 160 and 320 GB models are coming out.
