But that's the problem. Left 4 Dead IS amazing. It's the pinnacle of team-based shooters. It's fun, there are tons of dynamic features to keep the game interesting, free map updates (on PC), and one of the best zombie games ever made. It's also not biased at all to one team or the other, there are no overpowered aspects to it (unless you count death charges), and it's a game that relies completely on player skill and teamwork over fruity in-game mechanics and lone-wolf gameplay.

Honestly, I'm supprised highly competative gamers don't play it more often.

Oh MGS4. People love to hate you, no matter how good of a game you are. The backwards reasoning for not likeing MGS4 is always funny to listen to.

Does it have it's problems? Of course. Doesn't change the fact it was a great game, and a fine addition to the Metal Gear series.

When people look at Valve, they mostly think of titles such as Half-Life, Counterstrike, and Team Fotress 2. Even Portal is a massive success for Valve. However, for all the praise they get, I hardly ever hear anyone mention Left 4 Dead when the topic of Valve comes up. I personally would like to think it's quality is on par with the previously mentioned titles, but the playerbase doesn't seem to support that.

So I have to ask, why no love for Left 4 Dead?

If the games are still as linear as the ones now then who cares what they look like. Killzone and Uncharted sure both look great but they're not exactly expansive. Next gen better not be the same set piece rollercoasters like they are now

The REAL humor from this thread are all the people laughing off Halo, when 5 years ago most of these same people would probably have still been drooling over the series...

Ok, I agree with it looking dull. But, I think Sheep at this point shouldn't be arguing about HD graphics.... Just saying.

Order of complaints:

- Carbon Copy of Smash Bros

- Sony does nothing original

- Gameplay looks just like Smash Bros

- Sony copies everyone

- Games is lame because it's exactly like Smash Bros

- Game looks dull

So I guess Smash Bros was actually dull all along, eh?

The PS3 was the one that went dark for more than a month due to crappy online security. :P
