ohhh right, because MGS4, littlebigplanet, MS2, resistance 2, KZ2 and SOCOM:confrontation are all crap exclusive games or going to be hey?

It's blatantly obvious you don't even own a ps3 in my opinion, the 360 boards are waiting for you ;)
I'd buy a PS3 just to play MGS4 alone.

Played both titles from beginning to end and CoD4 absolutely tromps AC, there is no reason whatsoever to purchase AC over CoD4 regardless of their genre, CoD4 is just *that* much of a better game.

AC is eye candy(depite every city looking the same) and other then that i would have rathered be anally probed with a hot iron rod then endure the repetive gameplay, essentially you've finished the game in 40 minutes after the first mission, cause every single one is the same.
The gameplay is boring and frustrating.
AC focuses so much on a perfect world and scalability that gameplay totally goes right out the window.

If eye candy is what you want, CoD4 also has better visuals and online.

Like someone previously mentioned, Sony have NEVER been like Microsoft, I meen when the Ps2 came out it was even more bashed then the Ps3 and look where it ended up 3 years later, and the so so called "dream-machine" dreamcast wleft the business.

They only announced recently they would have 300 games out for Ps3 by Q1 2008, do you really want to hear any more?

The only game i may bother getting the 360 out of the cupbaord for is H3 and honestly im anticipating KZ2, UT3, andMGS4 ALOT more.

Microsoft always run on empty promises and considering I bought there console at launch and I still feel let down.

I own all consoles, and the Playstation 3 is easily the best value,

Heres the way I see it-

Wii- You get what you pay for- not much, although is ish fun with friends. - $399

360- cost me $650 AUD then i was set back for an $80 fan cause the thing is a practical barbeque(and its neccessary for it to remain working), live sets me back a further $75+ each year(assuming I play for 5 years), Wi-fi set me back another $165 and then if i wanted to make it somewhat similar to PS3 with HD format it would set me back another $249 and yet it still doesn't compare to its competitors but coming in at a whopping - $1519

PS3- Loaded with everything i'll ever need for next generation gaming and best processor and graphics processing unit as well as blu-ray, bluetooth, free online, home, 50 gb game limits and more for a mere- $999

That's the way it is, xbox starts off cheap, yet i found out the hard way, that really just begs for money once you've bought it, and it honestly just isn't the same experience as wii and in the most drastic case PS3

The DVD isn't dead yet, but will die out once the HD-DVD and BLU-RAY have finished dueling it out for the winner and once one succeeds the market will shift to that format and at this time its looking very sweet for blu-ray.

I have no intentions of getting a HD-DVD player or 360 add on but blu-ray and standard dvd when not available on BD floats my boat.

I thought it was good, what on earth do you expect an update to do, change the entire system and teach it how to make you cappuchinos?

It's merely been a month in global, there just covering the little things, it's better then what iv'e ever got from my 360, there ALL pure crap.

As for the people complaining about games, resistance and motorstorm are the sweetest launch titles iv'e ever got my paws on and there certainly isnt lack of games considering global launch was a month ago.

Resistance eats any of the other consoles launch titles alive, particularly FPS genre titles such as perfect:dark zero, which gave me more fun playing with my toes... literally
