It's kinda personal, but I'll say that I can't afford to always be online sometimes. With a high house payment, utility bills and everything else, sometimes I have to decide what's good to cut off and what's good to keep, and sometimes xbox live or internet just aren't necessities, so I push them off sides. However, I couldn't imagine not being able to play my games without internet. Also, another point, I live in Florida, a place with a high risk of hurricanes. Hurricanes mean outages. Even when your power is finally returned, the phone/cable companies can take even longer, because they aren't seen as a 'priority'. So what about then? Some of us wanna play our games. Sure, I spend a lot of time online when I have it, but I like to think that nothing should be a 'must-have'. Think about it in other scenarios. What if you ran out of toilet paper. You aren't gonna sit there on your toilet for weeks and wait for someone to bring you some so you can finally wipe your ass because you're only allowed to wipe it with toilet paper right? Hell no, you'll find paper towels or something. BECAUSE THAT'S HOW WE ROLL. Lolol. (Bad example.) But all jokes aside, we're free people, living in countries that give us freedom, but at the same time that freedom don't come cheap. When a company comes in and tells us we HAVE to do something, it feels like we're having our rights taken away from us. It doesn't work well for governments (watch the news) and it certainly won't work well for businesses. That's my take on it anyway. Apologies if this offends anyone.

All this time I spend standing up for Nintendo, and defending them, and they do some stupid shit like this. SIGH.

I miss the old Ace Combat games. When I saw that Assault Horizon was basically a game with lots of rail shooting, I felt disappointed. I mean, props for trying something new and innovative but...Hopefully they figured out that wasn't going to work, so they need to go back to a formula that does.

I wonder if a show would be interesting. Look at all the popular hour long shows that seem successful. Game of Thrones, Walking Dead, Spartacus. There's others I'm missing as well. I'm not actually promoting this, since I think it'd probably be best just left as a game, but at the same time, a story this massive needs to be portrayed over a length of time that's longer than 2 hours. Look at Lord of the Rings. Massive movies, about four hours or so per movie. And these were EDITED and CUT. These stories were massive, but maybe with an episodic show, you could fit a little more in? In any case, like I said, it's probably a good idea to leave the games, to the game developers, and not film directors.

Let's write an article about how upset we are that game companies are committing piracy by stealing people's art. That'll show em'. Lol.

@chipwithdip @xGr4ffitix Yeah I hear ya'. It's pretty sad really, considering most of us. (The older folks) probably wouldn't even enjoy or care about gaming if it wasn't for Nintendo bringing us all of those fun times back when we were younger. We're just older now. Bitter. We try to use logic and it just ends up pissing us off and making us hate them even more. I think once we sit back, relax, and enjoy what they bring, and stop caring so much about the politics of it, we'd be better off, and happier for it.

I don't really think true gamers really care who 'wins' or 'loses' when it comes to a console war. The only thing we want are games. If we can afford it, we'll get a PS4, Xbox One, Wii U, and whatever else comes out, because we're gamers and we like to play games. I like games from all the different consoles. Looking forward to Smash from Nintendo, Infamous 2 from Sony and the next Halo from Microsoft. I hope Nintendo is successful, just like I hope the other companies are successful as well. Why? So they can keep providing us with good games of course. Whether one console has more good games than another one, or whatever the case may be, whether we like it or not, all the consoles have that one game that we remember, that one game that we love, and that's what counts. Man. I sound like a cheesy love story. It's the truth though. Lol.

Destiny definitely won it for me. I love Borderlands, and you mix that along with Halo and you got one hell of a bad ass game. Multiple classes, skill trees and various loot, with epic boss battles? Yes please.
