I bought the laptop. After I bought, I wanted to play games on it as it had a dedicated graphics. Not that I bought it intentionally only to play games...

I think you are running of the integrated graphics as a check on notebook check for the 7670M has you running games like fifa 13 at ultra and black ops 1 at medium with over 60fps.

Today, I got everything working. It was so silly of me not looking up on the net for those lags much before. I can play NFS MW 2012 at the best settings[everything set at max] at pretty good FPS. And just setting Ambient Occlusion and Geometry, 1 level low[as set by the game itself during startup], the game has Excellent FPS. Black Ops issue is fixed too. AC3 issue also fixed. Did't check the FIFA. But I guess i can run that at Max settings too. All I did was to update the driver and just some search to change GPU from "Power-Saving" to "High-Performance". And another fact is that I hear a sound of fan from the bottom of the machine which I did'nt hear before. I guess that's the Dedicated GPU fan. Thanks to @Squeets and @DJ_Headshot!!!

Most of those laptops with both an integrated and dedicated GPU require you to manually toggle between them, have you done that?

Also update drivers.

I tried this. Some search. And most probably I have got it correct because, its working just at an excellent FPS. I have only tested the AC3. Now, I am gonna test the others.

I have the HP Pavilion g6 laptop with Radeon 7670M 2gb Dedicated graphics. But still I experience some problems with some new games. My Laptop Specifications : Operating System : Windows 8 64-bit HDD : 500 GB Processor : Intel Core i3-2370M 2.40GHz RAM : 4 GB DDR3 Graphics : Internal : Intel HD Graphics 3000 [1801 MB] Dedicated : AMD Radeon 7670M [2 GB] And The Games I tried with Results : Assassin's Creed III : Laggy at full resolution[1366x768], Unsatisfactory FPS at Lowest possible Resolution[800x600]....Everything set to default.... Call Of Duty - Black Ops : Very Laggy, Unplayable...... Need For Speed - Most Wanted [2012] : Good Gameplay but Lag starts suddenly and continues for about 10-15 seconds, then returns to Normal FPS... FIFA 13 : Satisfactory Gameplay at Default Resolution[1024x768]...But At Full Resolution[1366x768], Unsatisfactory FPS, but playable..... And Other than this, I tried Call Of Duty - Modern Warfare 2 and that worked Very Good without any Lag... So, I want to ask that am I missing anything?? I mean any configuration problem is resulting in these Lags?? Or Is this result with these specifications acceptable?? [NOTE : I have recently installed Catalyst Control Centre 12.11 Beta 11, without any significant performance improvement. Tomorrow, I am going to try the latest 13.2 Beta]
