Hey folks,

I consider myself a fan of long cutscenes. I think they can be epic and I love the Metal Gear Solid series. Right now I'm playing Xenosaga I and it seems like it might be even more cutscene heavy than any MGS title. Granted they may break a cutscene up with a 2 second walking sequences but you can easily go 2 hours just watching/reading story. So I'm wondering if MGS is not the most cutscene heavy series but just the most popular. What is the most cutscene heavy game that you have played? Thanks

mmm figured it out. apparently when you press y at the main menu you have to select xbox live.

I'm not new to halo or playing with local friends online. However, when i try to log in a local guest to play some matchmaking online, it automatically disconnects me from xbox live and logs out the guest account. Is anyone else experiencing this?

I found the Force Unleashed to be a fairly enjoyable rental. However, I was frustrated by one major point. Starkiller turned away from the dark side to the light side of the force through his hatred for darth varder betraying him and through his love for his Juno. I know that might seem to justify why someone would change teams. But, hatred and love are the two powerful emotions that are suppose to lead someone to the dark side. For example, *episode I and VI spoilers* Vader turned to the dark side because he loved Padmé and thought the dark side would allow him to save her. Or Emperor to luke, "release your anger and strike me down" *end spoiler* the cool think about being a jedi and the reason it required so much training from a young age was because you couldn't just be a good fighter, you needed incredible control over your emotions and this was an inner battle that all jedis faced. With Forced Unleashed, (a canonical part of the star wars storyline) it seems like the depth of the jedi is thrown out the window completely in the name of gameplay (although it is fun). Now FUII is going to have a rage meter where you get super powerful? It sounds fun, but doesn't sound like a jedi.

Is anyone else bugged by this, or if not, is there a way that you could justify it through the star wars lore?

I'm curious to know what people actually care about in a collector's edition because some of the CEs really can't justify their price in my opinion. So.

art books, making of the game documentaries, action figures, in game item that may only give an advantage at low levels, and metal boxes

The the fancy metal boxes are definitely cool, but only worth it if they encase some sort of collectors edition goodness. All too often limited editions are sold at a $20 premium and customers are expected to see the case as a bonus feature in and of itself.

I know not everyone cares about soundtracks and some people love the action figures. What do you guys like to see in a collector's edition? i think it's a good thing to consider the issue in general because if you don't think about it until a game's CE is offered you end up buying it because you love the IP and not because you even care about the stuff included.

well thats definitely good news. i applied. so if they are getting beta apps in april i doubt there will be a full release this month. but we'll see. thanks dude.
