@masterdrat I am going to have to strongly disagree with you on this point. They are very different. Horizon may have the realist physics of a arcade racing game, but it's still an arcade game and not a sim. Play Forza 4 then go right to Horizon, they are very different.

I haven't played NFS, and don't plan to. As for Forza Horizon, it's a big let down. They say that with all the aids turned off it plays like the other Forza games. This just isn't true. The driving mechanics are so numb that there is no thrill when you take a corner perfect. If you like silly racing games with over the top game play and annoying stories, then go ahead and get Horizon. I am going back to Forza 4.

@joe_chebs If you want something in the sim vein go with Forza 4. I think it is the best racing game out there. There is a little bit of a learning curve, so be patient. Once you figure it out it is incredibly fun. Horizon feels a lot like test drive unlimited or NFS.

Uhg. What a let down. Why didn't they include an option to have the simulation (good) Forza driving physics? This game is ridiculous, you can do a whole race without ever having to touch the brakes. Forza made their name by being a no-nonsense driving game, why are they pissing off all their fans with this crap. It also could do without the lame cut scenes, but that's a pretty minor complaint compared to the gameplay.
