@twztid13: i was around and i did notice that it was a departure from the original formula........but i really liked the more aggressive style they added. in fact - i got a lot of enjoyment out of trying to be stealthy and avoid all the insta-kills....try it, if you give yourself rules like "no shots fired"....or always keep your gun holstered....there's a lot of challenge and creativity waiting for you

@JJMikhail: I totally missed the opportunity to put that in my comment - as far as I am concerned it was really the LAST splinter cell game we got because....IRONSIDE!

well...sh*t - i haven't had a good reason to buy the XBone till now. To this day, Conviction remains one of my all time favorite spy games. I remember making rules for myself when I played the game - like...no guns blazing, no guns drawn, no auto-kills, must auto-kill at least 2 people after a melee take-down or no kill at all, etc etc. The story's premise made me want to solve the mystery and exact revenge, the mechanics were fluid and completely badass (one of the only games I've ever played to make me feel truly lethal in every way), I LOVED the cover mechanics, I LOVED how well designed the levels were and how many options for cat-and-mouse it gave...AND it had one of the best co-op action additions i've ever played, both in Kestral and Archer and the PVP modes........IN FACT! after I visited a few gamestops just looking for a new copy (mine was unplayable)... I was completely bummed that there was no one online doing coop anymore...yeah...I am going to buy an xbox just so I can get this game because I am CERTAIN there will be folks back on it willing to engage in some espionage wit me!

Hit me up if you wanna buddy and let's crack some necks!

(The only two criticisms I have of the game: 1) no knife, 2) can't move bodies....that said, I would ONLY classify those as MINOR annoyances!)

Can you tell I bought an xbox 360 before my junior year of college finals JUST so I could play this game afterwards? :) . yeah....i did that and it was glorious!

@Prats1993: with all due respect, in the far cry games we have ALWAYS killed people we disagree with politically
