Yay I sorted it!
Due to inexperience probably more than anything. But basically my motherboard can support up to 6 of those 2GB sticks I have.

However not in dual channel. Lol. Put then both in 1st set of White and Blue slots and it worked.
Haha, well atleast I can laugh it off and I learned something I didn't know.

Sounds like an issue here then if CPU-Z is showing empty slots of the second 2GB kit. I;m kind of going out on a limb here but what if you take 3 of the sticks fill those up in the white and put the last one in the blue? Not sure if that is going to work or not.xXDrPainXx
Huh? I have 2x2GB sticks. CPU-Z Detects both of them but the other 4 slots on my board are empty.

That X600 should be leeching some but 2GB is quite a difference there. Under CPU-Z if you go over to SPD tab I'm assuming it shows all the slots correctly. Me personally I don't own a triple channel board so I'm not totally sure how that affects things.xXDrPainXx
Yes it shows slot 1 and 2 are fine and others are empty @Lach0121 No other windows updates. I will check see if I missed any driver updates.

Wow, that's weird. Are you sure that your DIMMs are in the proper slots? There must be a display somewhere in the BIOS displaying the amount of installed memory. Are you confident that you are running 64 bit and not 32 bit W-7?jcohenx
They are in the correct Blue slots. 100%. Also I have tested them 1 by 1 just incase if one was faulty. Also in the screenshot you can also see that I am in 64bit.

Hey just built my first PC. Everything has gone fine except that Windows is only detecting 2GB RAM. I have 2x2GB (4GB).
However if I use CPUZ it detects 4GB RAM in there?
Can't seem to find anywhere in BIOS to see my memory only Timings and Mhz for it.

Specs are
Intel i7 920 @ 2.66ghz
Asus Rampage II Extreme
Kingston 1333mhz 2x2GB (This RAM is on the motherboard verified list for everything double, triple channel etc)
ATI X600 (some old graphics card until next month) Hence the mega low WEI score
850w OCZ GameXStream (I know this is a lot but will be using CrossFire in the future on a better card obv lol)
Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit
