I just bought a used one off craigslist last week. It was only $120 and was missing the charging cradle. Other than that the 3DS itself was in almost new condition. Now scratches or anything. I think if you look hard enough you can find one at the same price or even cheaper. And I don't think the market for used 3DS' will increase noticeably since it's only the XL version, not a brand now DS.

and it came with a 16gb memory card

Oh wow, people are still playing that?! I need to go buy me another one since I lost it. FF3 will always be one of my favorite FF's :]

I died just messing with the 3d switch on the title screen. Something about the 3d title just made the whole game seem completely worth a buy. The graphics were really good, almost as good as the PS2 ones and way better than 358/2. I thought the flowmotion control was really confusing but maybe with time I'll get used to it

I would get it just for the 12 special storyline cards. They're to die for in my opinion.

I'm only 2-3 hours into the game and i like it a lot so far. I'm biting off more than I can chew by taking every single quest and trying to collect every collectible!

I bought it for the sole purpose of MH3 - actually it was bundled come to think of it - but I highly recommend having the CCpro for it. Its also really nice to have anytime you require the standard classic controller as it just feels more comfortable and more legit - i find with the standard classic controller the buttons seem cheaper if that makes any sense.

How far did you make it into MH may I ask.

My library of games is very narrow. The four "major" games I have (or will have soon) are Monster Hunter Tri, Harvest Moon: ToT, Rune Factory Frontier, and Xenoblade Chronicles.

I want to give MH another chance since I dropped it pretty quickly after getting it and I'll be getting XC this weekend. I was wondering if it would be worth it to get the Classic Controller Pro for those games and any other.

Are there any other "major" games that work BEST with the CCpro? And will playing MH and XC without it hurt the gameplay at all?

if you're new to the turn based JRPG genre you can start out with FFtactics WotL since Tactics Ogre is pretty hardcorde. I'd also recomend checking out the PSN for great oldies like FF4-9
