Game-wise, it was pretty bad. The game had nothing going for it, other than some personality that would no doubt be seen as super problematic by todays standards.

The best I can hope for is that edgy personality to be retained, so I can read some funny cope and seethe reviews, then eventually play the game when it's on sale or game pass or whatever, similar to Postal 4

@LJS9502_basic: Keyword "original". TOS was hardly woke. They wouldn't even allow female captains back then.

Griping about wokeness ruining "Star Wars" and the MCU is big business, and in case you haven't been paying attention to these folks – and for the most part, the average viewer, moviegoer and entertainment journalist hasn't – business is good, because these concepts have been mainstreamed.

LOL.

Wokeness is not mainstream. That's why Netflix cancels most of their shows after the first season. What is mainstream is established franchises Star Wars and the MCU. Those will do well no matter what trite you put in it.

Has there ever been an original woke franchise that was successful? I'm seriously struggling to think of one.

@loonski: I still don't know why you guys are so obsessed with Chicago. It's like #10 in the top 10 most gun violent. Plenty of cities in red states above it

Cities in general tend to have very strict gun control, and yet they are havens of gun violence. This is something that has been true since the beginning of this country. Most gun violence is relegated to a few dozen heavily populated counties. The majority that live outside of those places live exceptionally safe lives, regardless of what gun laws do or don't exist.

Probably the most significant supreme court decision of our lifetimes.

I believe all gun control is infringement, and with this decision, no piece of gun control legislation is safe. Two thumbs up from me.

@zaryia: Well, that's disingenuous as hell. You bring up QOL/HDI in any argument you can, which is often since they are such vague and nebulous concepts, but they don't really mean much to most people.

Seems to me like the biggest low IQ, 3rd world move was protesters threatening the lives of certain SCOTUS members, considering that's the type of stuff that actually happens in 3rd world countries. Hope that dude who showed up to Kavanaugh's home with a gun and a plan to kill him gets life in prison.

Between blasting anti gun authoritarians and overturning Roe v. Wade, all within a week, this dude is becoming a folk hero. Maybe protesters showing up at the homes of SCOTUS justices had a bit of a backlash.

He sure loves his 3rd world ideas lol. Then again this is why Red areas have a much lower HDI/QOL.

No idea why you're so preoccupied with shit no one cares about

Biggest threat to democratic freedom is the crackdown on whistleblowers and those who give them platforms.
