I guess you get to play the beta to find bugs, and they use that for patches?

BF3 and BF4 had Betas one month before release. (Yeah, BF4 failed but still :P)

@Konuvis I think they give you the Alpha version, while they already working on Beta or better, just so you can test/play without giving out too much info, and leave you wandering for more.
