This "versus XIII is cancelled" rumour probably came from SE trying to generate some buzz and manufacture some anticipation.

Luckily this didn't happening in the US... otherwise someone will get sued big time.

I don't think Square Enix has apologized for taking so long to make FF XIII Versus, nor did Valve apologize for basically never making Half-Life 2 Episode 3... So Rockstar really has nothing to apologize for :-)

would be nice if they had released something more than a chopper and a sun-of-a-beach... look pretty awesome though

When I said "play like FF XIII", I meant play 5 minutes, watch 15 minutes of cutscene, then play another 5 minutes, followed by another 10 minutes of cutscene... Okay Lightning is pretty but I'd rather play a game then watch cartoon.

They just want to use it as an excuse for taking forever to make the damned game :-)

Agni's Philosophy certainly looks impressive. But if it plays like FF XIII then what's the point? They might as well starting making animated movies and stop making games. It's not like they haven't done it before... Advent Children was good, by the way :-)
