I pre-ordered it. I thoroughly enjoyed the first DA for 80 hours before I began modding it and spending 100s of hours in the toolset...customizing the world, it's models, weaponry and overall "visual design". DA brings back great memories and I thought it was one of the best RPGs ever created at the time.
Hopefully this release stands true to the review - that it has been restored to it's former glory as I was fairly disappointed with DA2, though I suppose I was latching onto DA when it came to DA2.
I try to think of it as cost vs time of entertainment. Last week I spend nearly 70 bucks at the movie theater on a date - and that was just part of the date. It was about...2 hours of entertainment? So if I spend 70 bucks on something that'll give me at least 30 hours of killing time enjoyably then I'm alright with that.
On the other hand if it turns out to be monkey feces well...then...well then god damn it.
