I disagree with everyone that said WWI. Trench warfare would really not be fun. It would just be you sitting around in a hole all day and every once in a while firing at another hole across from yours. That's really not fun if you think about it. As for a war being made into a game, I think Vietnam is the best option because almost everything else has been done to death. Please... no more WWII shooters for a while.wwervin

AGREED! I am sick of everyone saying a WW1 game would be so cool. It is the dumbest idea for a FPS. All you do is sit in a trench and wait for someone's head to pop out, charge through no man's land and get shot down by an machine gun, or wait in a bunker while the enemy's artillery hits your position for days on end. It is like seeing an action movie where everything interesting is happening around the protaganist, but the protaganist himself does absolutely nothing.

If people like the Vietnam idea, they should play Battlefield:Vietnam. That was a really fun game and it would be nice if some other company expanded on their original game

If you have ever read Plato's dialogue with Meno, then you would know why.  Meno says that if someone could get away with something, it would be illogical or even stupid to not steal or do anything unethical.

Plato then counters by saying that it would be illogical to steal because it would only hurt yourself, even if you were not caught.  Then Plato goes on and on about what the soul is, how important the soul is, etc.

I personally think that Plato is right.  It is always immoral to do something unethical even if you will never be caught because it will hurt yourself and your soul.

For this instance with racism on Xbox live, people do it because they can get away with it and no one can really do anything about it.  It is really sad that children are this naive, but that is just the way things are.  Just remember, that if they do say obscenities, they are not hurting you, they are really hurting themselves.

I have no idea, but the ps3 demo is up. I tried it and thought it was a good idea and could have been much better, but it was poorly executed. I still thought it was fun though and people should at least try it if they enjoy ww2 shooters.

I highly doubt that will work. I have some friends who have downright offensive gamercards, and they have never been banned or told to change and they have been on Xbox Live for several years now. Your efforts are absolutely fruitless.Scalemaster

it does not matter how offensive you think they are. If they are offensive to at least 8 people who will file a complaint against you, then they will force you to change it. I had my original name for over two year,D3dGrlsDntS4yNo, but once i started to become really good at Gears, people started to complain against my name. Yes, i know it is offensive, but most people who can understand it and read it find it funny.

It does not matter how offensive it might be, all you need is 8 people to file a complaint for the name to be banned.

every since gamespot changed the way they review games, all the games have been based off the biases of the reviewer. It was much more objective when we were able to see the different scores in graphics, sound, tilt, etc. I just do not trust gamespot reviews any more and now i trust websites, like IGN (UK, US, AUS), a lot more than gamespot. I do not even know why I still visit gamespot when IGN had better news, more news, better reviews, more videos, etc.

yeah sure. Video games helped me identify them. Counter Strike probably helped me the most and really got me interested in guns. Now, I am not proficient in identifying everything, but I am pretty good when it comes to fire arms made in the United States, Germany or Russia.
