@brandonabe So the quality of a game in your eyes, directly relates to impact physics of shooting or mauling people? You'll need to elaborate a bit more if you want to make any sense.

@SunzyMan "Sadly this MP footage looks like a low budget F2P FPS" In terms of what? Graphically, the game looks fantastic. There are some animation issues, but that's about it. Gameplay wise, this is a single mode that's being shown. TDM is not exactly exciting and new, regardless of game.

@Fortress5000 It's not irrelevant by any means. Gearbox had Duke Nukem for less than a year - they took over what was essentially done and tried to do the best they could with the mess that 3DRealms dropped on them. This was also while Gearbox had the majority of their people working on other projects. Don't be so quick to judge, you have no clue how difficult it is nor the circumstances they were in.

Why do people insist that OSX is sooo secure and unbeatable? I mean seriously. Apple controls about 4.5-5% of the market share. If they controlled 70+% like Microsoft, hackers would be concentrating on them, exposing the gaping holes that we all know exist. No OS is secure. Hackers attack the system with the most users. Simple as that. I've used Macs, and they're absolutely great. PC's are are also great. Both systems are perfectly good. PC's are better for games though, and that's a simple fact.

You think Vista uses too much ram? It doesn't even use 512MB - how is it possibly too much? If you have a crappy PC I can understand. But anything built in the past 2 years should have no less than 1-2GB. Game performance in Windows XP was pretty crappy as well, when it first launched. When companies released better drivers, performance improved. Same thing will happen with Vista. Right out of the gate though, the performance is pretty freakin' close, if you ask me. It will only get better. On my rig, Vista is running faster than XP did. I can only hope it stays that way. - Core2Duo E6600 - 2GB Corsair 3400c DDR2 - BFG GeForce 7950GX2 - 2x 250GB WD HDD Raid 0 - Creative Audigy 2 - Windows Vista Ultimate 64bit | Windows XP | dual-boot

DX10 games won't be dominant until at least holiday 07. That's a minimum of 1 full year of great gaming on a good gfx card. Doesn't sound unreasonable to me.

Neo Geo was $1000 when it launched. And it sold like hot cakes. Sad to see the PS3 $200 more in the UK, though. That's weak.
