[QUOTE="hazelnutman"]Throwing my controller in frustration? Oh sure, I've had plenty of moments where I've almost nailed my brother in the head with the controller. Resident Evil 5 Professional - It has to be either one of our faults for failing the quicktime events, but neither of us can agree on who's fault it is. Arguments ensue, urge to kill rises.danish-death
Yeah the quicktime events can be annoying. I played RE5 with a friend last night and I had to tell him when he had to push the right button in order to survive. =) LOL
I actually threw my controller while playing the first mission of COD4. while running to the top of the ship (after it begins to sink) i ran in the wrong direction so many times i threw my controller
happens to me all the time while playing games like splinter's cell. in order to get a perfect stealth score..
I broke my DS2 while playing GoW on hardest settings. If i can remember correctly it was the part when kratos has to fight a horde of kratos to save his wife n kid....
I've tried my hands on fixing both 360 and a PS3(my friend's). i screwed up my 360 completely but worked my charm :p on the ps3.
360 was more difficult as it had to modify/fix/touch/screw up the components whereas in PS3 fix i simply replaced the whole lens assembly.
putting back the PS3 was tricky though.. and the complete repair cost was around 100$$
I'll suggest you to do it urself if your PS3 is out of warranty or out of region. though replacing the lens assembly is no rocket science it's always better to get it done through the experienced.
