It's AMAZING someone has concerns about white writers trying to write what they feel the "black experience" is about with no context as to what that means because THEIR NOT BLACK, and people are shitting on him because "he said the quite part out loud". He also says there are many areas of praise but that from a writing perspective it's South Park's "Operation: Get Behind The Darkies" where the writers can point to all of this other good positive empowering stuff as a shield to make the heroine "the angry black woman sticking it to the man" cliche, troupe, or whatever you wanna call it
@Bahamut50: I remember seeing an MTV news documentary a long time ago and they said something profound which always stuck with me about how selfish fans are, when you discover a band that not many others know about you think of them as YOUR BAND. Their music is something only the "real" fan who's been listening to them from the start can appreciate, the band does not share this sentiment they want to honor long time fans sure but they want as wide an audience as possible. To do this they need to breath to write music that broadens their appeal and this might mean writing songs you don't like but the band doesn't care if you don't like the new album because if that means fifty other people were converted into fans YOU'RE AN ACCEPTABLE LOSS. The Game Industry is the same way if a game doesn't meet some expectation a critic demands that the game has to have then some how that makes the game bad despite everything else positive about that game.
Oh, wow. Sony has actually created its own Payback point system, with its own credit card and everything else. I'm only surprised that this is the first time I've ever heard of it.
But wait, every purchase you make in the store nets you a measly 1 point. 5 if you use their credit card? That's completely insane. Even Payback provides you with a cashback of up to 5% on every € or $ you spend from what I've seen. But Sony's model is absolutely ridiculous. You could be buying dozens of games over more than a decade and never get anywhere near enough points to be able to use them for anything. What a genius idea. Andn I bet lots of kids will sign up for it now that Gamespot has posted this article.
HA! even at 5% on every purchase you'd still need to buy one hundred or more titles just to have the points to buy a PS5 and IMO there isn't 100 PS4 titles worth playing. I play the X Box One X and I want to convert to a PS5 which means people like me are SoL because we will don't have the accounts needed to take advantage of the offer. So Sony is only targeting people they already have in the ecosystem they're not expanding the player base which is how you win the "hearts & minds" of the enemy
@box215: Nah. The company I sold them to had more than enough money to pay. They cut me a check for the whole load and it cleared overnight. The only thing that suffered was someone’s corporate bottom line. I’m cool with that.

@amichalski81: Also a TWO PS5 restock isn't a restock, each Gamestop should be getting like fifteen or more PS5s, taking names & numbers of people to call and let them know "hey, get down to the store our PS5 lottery is happening". Lottery would've fixed so much of the scalper problem
