@mme8

I can't wait for the quests to be implemented! I just hope they get it playable soon, part of me feels like I should ask if I can help with anything.

I know the PS2 brought one of the best DVD players in it's prime in addition to being a gaming console it also was the first console to successfully incorporate multiplayer , PS3 brought Blu-ray, Microsoft introduced the live service, making it possible to buy a console game in the living-room if that's not innovation I think you need to check your head. I see you keep insisting on twisting my words, but if it makes you feel good please be my guest. Why should I wait two months to see if PS4 and XONE is doing it right? Their day one sales speak for themselves, and so does all the biggest studios now working in line to release new games for consoles with hardware optimized for the future. I'm a PC gamer, but I'm impressed of what they can do with the PS4 and XONE knowing roughly what's in there. Consoles with the lifespan of the PS3 and X360 is just plainly impressive in this day and age, with quality titles still being made for them. That's because Microsoft and Sony is thinking ahead, while Nintendo is living in the past. I loved Nintendo back when I was a kid, but they have relied to heavy upon nostalgia the past decade. If you don't agree, that is fine, however if you insist on arguing, please come up with something solid instead of making your case on "whether daddy is the only one playing BF4 in the house or not" lol

I did not say that jumping on mushrooms makes every game the same thing, merely a metaphor meaning they need to think new, clearly you would understand that and not twist my words if you weren't too busy fanboying yourself.

Innovation you ask?

Let me answer that with a question in return. Why is PS4 and XONE doing great, while wiiU is not? clearly someone is doing something right and someone else is not. Nintendo is all about selling cheap hardware packed with family friendly nostalgia, while the competition provides one console for every need in the household, so when the kids are done with Ratchet and Clank daddy can log on BF4.

Jumping on mushrooms after more than thirty years of it, tend to get tedious, I agree, they need to offer other experiences than the classics, and for that they need to spend money on hardware. While Nintendo surfed the Miyamoto wave, Microsoft and Sony has built up a whole new console-market over the years through constant innovation. I wouldn't be surprised to see our Nintendo classics on other platforms, maybe even by other companies within a few years, and I'm not talking about emulators.

You kindly accept, and tell him he is a great dad. It's not much Dr. Phil about it.

The same goes for the consolers waring about which ancient APU is the best. PC gamers are tired of smart-mouths with no insight to hardware taking part in debates and blaming us for calling you peasants for telling what is what. I enjoy my PC and my PS3, but I think we can all agree it is nice to ALT + TAB in BF4 maxed out and do other tasks and go right back in there with no performance issues. I know the next-gen consoles are more intuitive and user-friendly, however consoles will always thrive at what PC is, and that's four steps ahead. Everyone enjoy your platform, but don't blame me for enjoying my GTX 780 DCUIITOP when it arrives in the mail along with my SSD, which I will enjoy mounting in with my other components I've selected and placed in there on my own. That's personal computing.

You know the longer they keep you in the game, the more likely you are to buy the hordes of DLC.
