As someone whose read reviews here for going on a decade now, I noticed a change last year. Instead of sticking with pretty much the 5+ range and up (to 10 / perfect), reviewers on the site began using lower scores of 2 and 3. Those scores really stood out to me, as many of the games were better than games that historically had been rated 5 or 6. It makes for a fairly inconsistent, albeit over a long perid of time, experience.

@BryanParksSuper Reading and reading comprehension obviously isn't your strong suit 'kid'. Let me see if I can provide a more simplistic explanation that you can follow: o XBox 360 Security Bad o PS3 Security Good (accounts not hacked)Hopefully you can decipher that complicated explanation. :)As I said before, if it were a phishing scheme it would be affecting both systems, not just one. Both XBox 360 / PS3 require you to use an email to register and thus both would be susceptible to phishing schemes. Yet it's only on the XBox 360 that people are experiencing problems.

@BryanParksSuper Exactly, it's not happening on PS3. If it were a phishing scheme, it would work on BOTH systems, not just Microsoft.

Xbox Live is the best example of how a gaming service should work??? That's a horrible statement. It's not really a service! It's an unnecessary charge for a point to point match-making system! There is NO service there! Ughh... Really GameSpot? I mean, really???

Has anyone come across a single example of a phishing attack? Something that is non-email in nature? An article or link to one?

@mjc0961 You don't know what you're talking about my friend. I recently had my account hacked. I had an extremely complex password that could not have been brute force hacked. As for phishing schemes, which is Microsoft's mantra (now whose falling for a line...), we have not had one single example of the phishing schemes. Not one. I have 3 to 6 months history on my computer right now (it's a Mac), and I'm more than willing to share it with Microsoft if they could show me where or how the hack occurred. The difference between Microsoft and Sony is that Sony acknowledged the problem and addressed it in a very responsible manner. Microsoft has disavowed the problem for well over half a year with nothing but spin while Major Nelson and their lead of security were hacked. History with the failing XBox 360s / Red Rings shows us that Microsoft won't take a step until there is a possibility of class action lawsuit. If nothing else, the 30 days to investigate a hacking is more proof that they are not a responsible company. They could easily take a snapshot of the history of the account and let the user continue to use it, but they don't. Anyhow, completely off topic. If anyone can message me a link to an article that shows an actual phishing attack, rather than a 'rumor' of one, or Microsoft's claim they are the cause, then I'd love to read it. I haven't found anything yet on it other than MS's spin.

OnLive will either drop out, or be purchased by Microsoft, who appears to be their main target for acquisition if name association is any type of tell. Don't see the big 3 dropping out any time soon. Nintendo has won this generation handidly, making money on all consoles. Microsoft mad a huge leap, but floundered with hardware issues and security issues (Fifa12 / live hacking incidents), losing many customers in the process (me being one!). Sony was arrogant with the PS3 and did lose loyalty, but it's definitely in it for the long haul. They've made too much money in the space to abandon it now and they have too many technologies to bring to bear to not continue in it.

@djjman Read the link, no way the password I used was brute force hacked. It'd take years to do it. Plus, the brute force hack doesn't explain the oddness we were seeing with the force login not working on the console. Whatever was done to the account, there was no way we could force a password check on the XBox 360 console after the hack even after changing the setting on the console itself and restarting. The XBox 360 support staff didn't know what to say.... other than 'that shouldn't be happening'. No kidding... lol

@djjman Haven't read your article/link yet, but my guess was that when you download the profile, the check is in the profile itself as you can turn it on/off on the console itself. Figure if they find the right bit, change it, then they can use the service without ever logging in. Just a SWAG though. If it's that easy to do though, Microsoft should get the hell sued out of them, especially after what Sony/PS3 went through with their security breach.

@gcfreak898 How did you learn your account was migrated to Brazil? Mine was hacked on 1/11, but when I viewed the console that last logged into it, the date was 1/12, which led me to believe it was done overseas as the date was a server date (meaning not based on someone's console date setting).
