Since this thread is pretty high up in the search results, here's how I solved it.

• Go to "device manager" in control panel,
• find the controller there,
• unplug your controller,
• uninstall the driver,
• wait a few seconds,
• then plug the controller back in and let it automatically install the driver.

Had to do it a few times for some reason, but it eventually fixed it for me.

is there a chance anyone would be kind enough to send a full set of turret and GLaDOS sound files to me at travellors[dot]tale[at]gmail[dot]com ? i bought the xbox version

or put it on a file hosting site for me... i wanna set some GLaDOS love up as my default windows sounds ^_^

amma n00b here too, is there anything i should know, like... i dunno, like [the cake is a lie/the companion cube will stab me/the people living in wii-forum don't like outsiders] and such?
