@musclesjam & letticiae so I don't get it, are you mad at gamespot for INCLUDING these characters you hate so much, or are you mad at the majority who voted for them?
@exber screw that. I had a good time with this, and I hope they do it again. is GS's userbase so "grrrr hardcore" that you can't appreciate a good sidekick because he's A CARTOON DUCK!? this vote wasn't a fraud, GS users simply seem to lack the objectivity to look past cartoon graphics.

@gronush I think you should introduce yourself to my friend crow, from the longest journey. he's the archetype brought to life, and it makes for a less pretentious sidekick when they actually acknowledge that they're only a foot tall.
@feleas that's just it. the only problems with the servbots in that scenario is that they're "too cute to win." so if they won, a lot of people would have their jimmies rustled over it. but who cares? let people be mad that you voted for the "wrong guy". haters gonna hate, and all that.
my own rational: I voted launchpad because by the time I found this poll, jan ors and crow had already been knocked out by you kids, and we had three different variation of "sidekick of mario" still in the brackets. so yeah, given how few of the contestants were actually even sidekicks (about 40 of the original bracket by my count) I went with the nostalgia vote. average gamer is 37 years old. a lot of us don't post on these boards a lot, but we still see things like this, and can vote.
