Well it depends on what type of user you are. If you are buying it just to play games, I really don't recommend it at all, the games (good ones) are sparse and the umd movie costs add up, the browser is not that great, and the flash support amounts to nothing because you cannot get onto the web sites and it is just a cash pig really. *IF YOU ARE A GENERAL USER*.........If you are a power user and put time into your psp, I take public transportation to and from work everyday so my psp is my life right now. Most of the time my general use of it is to watch movies and tv shows. I use netflix and torrent and my own DVD collection to convert movies for my psp and there are always new movies and old movies so my catalogue obviously is enormous (I burn and convert files while I sleep) especially since I bought my 8GB memory card, only $60 right now. When I make transfers from one train to the next it saves my spot in the movie, I turn on the music player and put it in my pocket until I make my transfer and then I watch my movie again. It sounds like a commercial but it is all true, it can be done. I have an old school PSP so I can't make skype phone calls to my family overseas over wifi, but you can if you want to. I do that on the computer at home. Noiw about the games....look, I am sorry to tell you and I am a bad boy, but I hooked mine up a little special (no details) and I burn all mine and my friends PS1 games and I play them on my PSP too now, so I don't cry for lack of games anymore, I have the whole playstation 1 catalogue at my disposl wherever I can find it. GET A SKIPDr.! Well there is more to do on it but that is it for me. hope this helps!
Why would you ask that question, it will be overhyped because it deserves it, that's it. You have no right to even put GTA with Halo AT ALL.Many peoplehave been playing GTA series for ten years now and not once has it been bad or less than the one before it, so I have a reason to ride its jock. The graphics as always will be sufficient for what it needs to do, next gen or not.
Very happy, but the thing that would put the nail in the coffin as far as their lead would be adventure games. Shooters are good and everything, but if you take away Sony's bread and butter I won't sell out anytime soon. Assassins Creed is an okay start to that, and the funny thing was it was going to be PS3 exlusive.
Now I know that it is a big money thing for all parties, but to make for the best game possible, why don't instead of coming out every year, come out every two years or something. Now hear me out, now that we have the playstation store and XBL well in place and used by millions, why don't we just come out with updated rosters or something? Make the games like an open source kind of thing where you can create a player and its animations and add them easily to the games code and switch up some stat numbers and charge everyone like $10-$15 for it, I would buy it. less work on the developers part once they get that system going no? I must be talking crazy though.
I am wanting to get a little into some old school Xbox games but so far I have had a bad experience. Shenmue had a weird framrate and some sections were completely void of music. Conkers bad fur day just plain old stopped working ever again once I got to a certain section. I just want to play a game where I won't have any issues. Not Halo, I am pretty sure those games work. Anybody can give me a few games with NO hiccups?
