If people weren't dumb enough to pay for level 25, they wouldn't bother putting something like this out there. Let's face it, consumers are the other half of this problem. I personally would never pay 40 bucks for level 25, but we all know that there are people that will.
I think this game would benefit from more bot modes like the previous titles had. Give players more options of gameplay. Games will boast about 10-15 different online modes, but the truth of it is most play 1-4 modes of the let's say 15. More maps, more ways to play that's how this game survives. Adding one map to my playlist of 4 is not enough
I think it would be a good sidekick to an Xone or a PS4. I had both but really only played my Xone, so I would welcome a Nintendo product just for a change of pace. I don't find the Xone and PS4 to be much different aside from a handful of exclusives, where Nintendo kind of walks it's own path.
My biggest gripe about the game is lack of maps, and weapons seem unsatisfying in use, and In modification. Playing WA on 4 maps has already become redundant, it lacks the scale size along with use of vehicles that made conquest more fun. The weapons are bland and you can do little to them in terms of customization besides upgrade cards that are basically boosts for a period of time.
I am having fun playing it, but it seems like a flame that may die sooner rather than later. Could of been fantastic, but I think this will shake out to be just okay unless you pick up the Dlc/rest of the game.
In other news EA explains it struggles to release a full game.
EA execs explain it's just not profitable unless we sell the other half on DLC.
The soundtrack was great, one of the best parts of the game. It's a shame they didn't put more content in this game. The only modes I could even play yesterday was WA, and their version of TDM. If I tried anything else I was either the only one in there, or I was 1 of 2 or 3.
@reduc_ab_: Minus the microtransactions, if they are in there which we are purely speculating if they are, we are looking at apples for apples. I don't think microtransactions would make up the difference even if they are included. All that said if you look at how many 360's were in circulation when Halo 4 dropped compared to XONE's right now, it's still impressive.
