@SpiderLuke Well, there've been pros and cons to Google's ownership of YouTube over all these years, but they didn't ruin it until fairly recently. And as you said, that was desperate "promotion" for Google+, so in a way Facebook is to blame for that as well.
@GameYakuza Well, this (plus Facebook being, well, Facebook to begin with, of course) is exactly why no-one in their right mind can think that the plan isn't for it to be used heavily for data-mining and ad-selling - (eventually) forcedly so for max revenue.
