I've never dreamt of owning a gun, so bear with my ignorance of the sensation of owning guns.
Firstly, people kill other people either because of fear, jealousy, persuasion, or by accident, either way it's always in lunacy. You can claim somebody went insane because of video games, but not that someone was killed by a video game. The point I was making is that what's dangerous is the availability of weapons. If nobody had guns, nobody would be killed by guns. That is a fact.
Secondly, the Bath School disaster was at a time when violent video games, movies and music where not available. Dynamite, however, was. You can easily see how, if the process of getting explosives or weapons were much more complicated, the perpetrator would have more chances to call off their intended deed.
Thirdly, regarding your point about knowing you wouldn't snap one day because, and I quote: "I know right from wrong". If you would snap, you wouldn't know right from wrong. That's what snapping is; losing control of your behavior and moral values. There are multiple prime examples of this, including the University of Texas massacre of 1966.
Now, why one would ever need to own nine guns is beyond me. Unless you're planning a massacre, of course. Or if you're an octopus, going hunting.
@tdawg2594: Agreed! It's really annoying to see that gamespot is supporting this childish behaviour! The graphics is secondary anyway, what really matters is where you have friends or just simply which system you like more. Don't buy in to the flame-war!
Turning of UAC in Vista makes it so much more usable and less annoying. But XP is still twice the OS Vista will ever be. It'll be interesting to se how Win7 does.
