@ironbuns: i've been surprised by the amount of $ people have thrown at this over the years whenever i decide to take a look at the stretch goals. seems more like throwing money at a dream imo.

@psionacles: heh, and yet people keep defending it without fail and will probably continue to do so until it either succeeds or fizzles. that's going to be a whole lot of sad people IF the latter winds up being true.

oh and regarding what you said about the pre-alpha/alpha/etc. stuff...so how long is beta testing usually? and the subsequent bug fixing and other important stuff?

so people are still throwing money at this thing, huh? *sigh*

well, looking at the stretch goal page. it seems the funding has hit a sharp decline since december and keeps decreasing.

@linusa: "How about this, if you can quote the section of his comment that said it had ever been about equality at all, I will say I am sorry for coming here and wasting your time."

*sigh* you're not very bright, you know? i can't make such a quote because he never said that. he said feminism was about equality in the past (PAST) but now (PRESENT TIME) it's not. after which you go and say that it's always been about equality which is true, it has been (in the PAST) about equality BUT it no longer is NOW.

all feminists, 3rd wave and radical, continue to say it's about equality BUT if you pay attention and don't blindly accept what they say then you'd see that they're actions clearly contradict what they say in a big way. nowadays the actions of such people prove without a doubt that they are NOT for equality but rather superiority.

why not go on youtube or google and do a bit of research and open your eyes to what is really happening in the name of feminism these day. you keep thinking of feminism as it was in the past but the current modern feminism is not the same as it previously was. which is exactly what your refusing to admit, that it HAS changed over time. recent time maybe but still, it has changed.

@linusa: i wonder if you even read the rest of that comment. i doubt it but oh well, goodbye. i'm done trying to talk with someone who is clearly in support of something causing numerous problems in the world.

if all you're going to do is defend the problem and accuse others of "not understanding what's going on" or "not paying attention" (oh, i was paying attention. if all you believe about feminism is that it's about equality and hasn't changed over time then you're in denial.) then kindly go away and stop wasting other peoples time. nice cherry picking there btw.

@linusa: i see news of how 3rd wave ()and radical) feminism is ruining the world all the time. how marriage rates are declining for a number of reasons, some of which include feminism, among other things happening as a result of it.

i understand pretty clearly that it is no longer about equality unless gender superiority is your idea of equality.

heck, just the other day i saw a few news articles about some kindergarten teacher who refused to let boys in her class play with legos in an attempt to get the girls to play with them more. ah, heres the article: http://mynorthwest.com/76/2846093/No-boys-allowed-Bainbridge-Island-teacher-imposes-ban-on-popular-activity even little kids in kindergarten of all places aren't safe from this toxic crap.

like gamefreak215jd said, there used to be a time when it was about equality but that's in the past. it's no longer like that at all. you can keep "saying" it's still about equality till your blue in the face but as long as the things people keep "doing" continue to show and prove otherwise, that's going to continue to be considered incorrect. saying and doing are 2 different things and feminists keep saying one thing yet doing entirely different things.

@linusa: i was saying feminism was probably about gender equality in the past but definitely isn't anymore pretty much.

@linusa: feminism for equality? yeah, that's in the past. nowadays all you hear about is 3rd wave and radical feminism and all the problems it's causing. keep saying it's for equality all you want but the fact remains: nowadays feminism is largely for female gender superiority and not equality.

i'm not saying all feminists are like that but it certainly is pretty commonplace. across the internet anyway.

@RageSet: luxury? more like hobby or job in the case of those e-sports things. as for me, i'm not making any excuses but i would pay for them if i could afford them but i can't so...

"There are cheaper entertainment options that may entertain a person the same or even more than a video game."

such as? if you're referring to things such as tv (hello mind numbingly dull waste of time. plus for all the hundreds of channels you get on tv these days, theres surprisingly little that's all that interesting or even worthwhile to see. i could easily go weeks without that waste of time.) or sports (yeah, real fun. >.> pfft, yeah right. waste of time and money. not to mention sports fans aren't exactly the type of people i'd enjoy being around for long, if at all. :/) or reading (eh, not bad but if you're like me and can pretty much remember most of what you've read or in the case of video games, played, then rereading or replaying the same ol' stuff over and over gets quite boring quite quickly.).

between simple workout every day with a dumbbell (it's surprising how much even the most basic of exercises can be if you put even just a small amount of effort into it) and practicing just to get faster and faster(why? why not? i find it fun to see how much faster i can get, simple as that.) and playing video games and browsing the internet and watching anime sometimes i'm pretty content.

@tom2750: can't...read...no...punctuation anywhere! seriously, if you have to make a text wall of any height, decorate it with friggin punctuation so it can be read properly. this is just one massive string of words that can't be read/understood properly.

tl;dr learn to use punctuation before attempting the whole long winded text wall thing.
