Yeah Yeah. I'll buy a new console when my current one is obsolete, but until the big three can demonstrate why I should fork over $500-$600 bucks for a new console, I'll stick with what I've got. I mean, come on. A dual layer blueray holds 50 gigs of data, and most games are 3-10 gigs. Once games reach that threshold, then developers can whine about needing a new system
Meaning "we won't put DLC on the disc anymore. We're still charge you for something that should have already been included in the game, but you'll just have to actually download it now"
@dawnofhero lol. agreed. It's already like that, however, because kids today don't know how hard games used to be. Now there's unlimited lives, quick-saves and the like. Try telling a kid nowadays about inputting long and cumbersome passwords in order to continue a game or, better yet, playing a game that didn't allow you to continue once the system was shut off.
regardless of what anyone thinks about mgs4, it made my girlfriend cry. I don't cry at movies or, especially games, but I came close towards the end of mgs4. My housemate made fun of my gf for being so emotional so I let him play the game. When I returned had had a tear running down his cheek. MGS4 was a prime example of a complex story with multiple intertwining themes and characters. Best game ever (or at least of this generation)
