Agreed. The Elder Scrolls games are incredibly immersive and have such a depth to them. GTA doesn't have as much immersion quality. GTA V may change that, but we have yet to kniw that so I can't say. But as for your argument, you hit the nail on the head. I'll be shocked if Elder Scrolls doesn't come out on top.

First of all, I'm a guy who's favorite game is actually GTA: San Andreas, with Twilight Princess and Skyrim at numbers 2 and 3 on my list respectively. The Legend of Zelda isn't ieven in the top four? Blasphemy! It's the greatest video game series of all time! And the fact that the Mario series only made it to the second round is a joke. It just goes to show you that Call of Duty and Halo aren't entirely to blame for mentally blind and annoying fanboys. All war, soldier, and other kind of games involving shooting are overrated and the most overhyped video game series of all time. The Grand Theft Auto series is the only series in a genre of video games involving guns that deserves even a top four spot. Here's hoping The Elder Scrolls series prevails, but The Legend of Zelda should be in GTA's place. Gamespot, you are hopeless.
