does socom have single player? and what do u need to be able to play online?

doom on ultra is way better than HL 2 on highest settings. But ithink Quake 4 looks a bit better.

Also Far Cry on highest settings look amazing with the outdoor enviroments and the range and freedom you have.

ive bin palying runescape and to be honest, i like it a bit but are any of these similar because im sort of looking for an upgrade. Im currently dloadin anrachy online and im gonna check that out but any other reccomendations?
