Just wondering if I could pester the forum for some general advice; 'cos as much as I love gaming, I'm a bit of a amateur (scratch that, a TOTAL amateur) when it comes to hardware stuff.
So, I was wondering; when my PS3 freezes permanently, and I have to get up and do a hard re-start using the button on the console... am I damaging the console in anyway? I'm playing Fallout: NV at the moment, and I'm having to do this alot, and so I'm just a bit worried that I'm hurting the console.
Here's a link to a video we've had on the news in the UK this week.
It's so irritating. Listen to how sarcastic the reporter is. The reason the games industry fails, gets not respect and missed-out on the tax break in the UK, ie because of moronic game-hatred like this all over the media.
Do they not realise how good game development/sales are for the economy/jobs etc.
*sigh*
I with I lived in a country whose popular media weren't so sarcasric and patronising about games.
