[QUOTE="blastmaster2k2"]You have to shoot him in the head. I think he's just like the other heavy gunner at Bronco Headquarters, he'll never die if you just shoot him in the body. You have to kill him with multiple shots to the head, he goes down quickly then. Frag_Maniac

Actually that is one heavy gunner in the game that doesn't require headsots to kill. If you're out in the open headshots are best, but if you're under that grating he comes out and stands on you can pummel him in the body right through the grate and take him out. It also helps to swtich to the powerful RPD in the little armory where you get the C4. There are so many effective ways to play this game, that is what's cool about it.

Oh!! i'll try that.

I always give kudos to Arkham City for it's stellar combat system, excellent extras (trophies, riddles, challenges) and the fact that it makes better use of the mediocre Unreal Engine 3 than pretty much any game out there. Honestly, if you can't tolerate night maps you shouldn't even be playing a Batman game. He is the Dark Knight after all. He'd look pretty weird trying to sneak around in the daytime with sunglasses on.Frag_Maniac
hahahahah lol!!

i am playing normal and stuck on the hotel roof, loosing to the heavy gunner all the time. I am doing this day after day and going nowhere. I am stuck. This happened in Witcher2; fighting the kadweni (don't feel that great to check spellings) general, since i couldn't beat him i stopped playing that game. Hope that doesn't happen here.

Uh... Max Payne 3 and Arkham City both look stellar.KHAndAnime
I prefer Max payne 3. If a game doesnt show blue skies, sunlight, trees, water; in other words, the regular world as we see and know, I avoid them. I am still playing Arkham city but its too dark; puts me in an odd mood. The very first Max payne was dark too.

It looks great on my maching, juding graphics based on how much they make your fans spin is stupid. Crysis wasn't that great graphically, it just wasn't optomized for anything so dumb people assumed it had the best graphics ever, they were good but not all that. Metro is another one that was poorly optomized.

You are right, thanks! Hope i have learned something

I am a little more than forty minutes into the pc version, so far, i am impressed as much as i was impressed with Batman Arkham city! I play Max 3 maxed out, direct X 11 included (except MSAA, here its only 2x: Vram limitations) on a mid range system: An ordinary quad, 8 gig ram, MSI 560 ti Hawk (oc'd a bit) resolution 1600x900. Somehow, the ported graphics don't feel cutting edge as Rockstar claims it to be. Games like Witcher 2, Crysis 2 and even Alan wake; within two minutes into them will set the twin fans of the MSI into a tailspin!! temperatures will hit the roof! but nothing of the sort is happening here in Max. Max 3 stresses my system as much as youtube and nothing more. Oddly, the cut scenes videos demand more of the hardware than the graphics! tmboyz

Sorry, Frag_Maniac! i was away. Just returned. You're very right about the GPU. Time to time i have the habit of quitting a game just check usage and percentage of load from the MSI afterburner. If the graphs hit the roof it's a great game! if not, no. This is how i judge a game. As you have pointed out, the weak link in my system is the monitor 1600x900! 20".The early stages of max 3 didn't impress me much (graphics, wise) but as i progressed into the brazilin area i noticed a marked change. Even on my puny monitor the scenes rendered superbly; the animation life like, facial expression almost human. This is indeed a great game! i take back whatever i said before. The problem with me is; I am always benchmarking much more than having fun playing sad.gif It has been like that since quake3 arena!! any advice here will be appreciated.

Yes! hard mode is plain ridiculous. Craps. The hundreds of programmers and the storyboard writers probably ran out of ideas, as to what difficulty means. To rockstar, it means, one against a very able army in a locked toilet. It also means, the bullets from the hero's gun is less effective than his adversaries. Concepts such as this may excite the kids but insults grown ups. Max payne 3 maybe a top rated game but if made into a movie; will look silly on the screen. Remember Stallone, in Rambo!
