On another topic someone chaffed at the idea that the PS3 was 3 times more powerful than the XBOX 360......rightfully so.
The PS3 is certainly not 3 times more powerful. For honesty's sake, I'd even like to volunteer that the PS3 isn't twice as powerful. But seeing how the XBOX 360 is having a hard time rendering its own 2010 exclusives in high definition whereas the PS3 isn't, I think its fair to say the PS3 is at least 25% more powerful, and possibly as high as 50% more.
Can we agree to that?

What EA is trying to do should be illegal, at the very least on the xbox platform where you already pay to play online. In comparison the car industry is very unlikely to get away with incurring extra fees from a used car sold secondhand or blocking features unless you pay an extra fee. What about clothes? Also sold used, is that also a threat, the list continues...
You pay for the game and it is yours, they'll still try to sell youvarious DLC and make money of that if you wish to purchase it but forcing the consumer to pay twice(xbox live fee)for online features is way over the top for me. If they feel they're not making enough money they need to have a better look at their business model and stop passing the buck to the consumer.
No more EA games for me, new or used, the limit has been reached for me.
For all it's flaws, metacritic and gameranking score, Halo ODST got AAAE here at GS, so it's certainly possible Reach will be AAAAE here.

See i totally agree with GS i thought ODSTs Single Player was fantastic. One of the Best Campaigns in a long time. It's certainly possible from the way Reach is looking atm imo
I agree, i thought the story telling was excellent and enjoyed the campaign, probably one of the best since Bioshock in my opinion. I just hope Reach isn't going to be all about the MP, then i'll probably just give it a rent.
