It's important to understand the difference between 'can' and 'do' . Either console can do it, but they're still giving up quite a lot to get more pixels when more effects, better shaders, etc will add more to IQ than more pixels.
This is a funny thread. The OP basically said nothing in terms of facts, and the posts exploded. I think even if we have a few people who actually know something about technology, their knowledge will be drowned in all the nonsensical posts about fanboy groups. In the end, the tech explanations neither prove nor disprove hardware superiority. They're merely giving out their reasoning for their harware decisions. I still expect the PS4 to have the edge in graphics similar to XBOX to PS2. That might mean something for some people but it shouldn't mean much for Playstation loyalists given history.
Makes some weapons that can actually at least come close to the Katana, seriously the Katana is so OP, it's not even funny. If straight swords are slower and have less reach, then make them at least hit with more damage than Katanas.

That entire system was implemented to decrease the fanboy backslash when PS3 titles were getting lower scores to their 360 counter-parts. With a new gen coming, I guess it makes sense to restore the old system.
