Tell ya what I think!
First Person Shooters: The only FPS games we'll be seeing on PC are those made by ID Software, among others, these are defenetly more fun to play on a console. Crysis is our only hope here.
Strategy Mouse-Controlled: even though we could put a Mouse device on an X360 or a PS3, due to home theather design constrains (X360 is not meant for a desk) it would be difficult to use. We'll be seeing these games on PC more often.
Platform - Figting: If you own a PC and like to play games, you will know that these games never seem to reach the PC gaming likes.¿Have you ever heard of Street Fighter for Windows?
Metal Gear Solid 4: They will port this game to PC... IN YOUR DREAMS!
Conclusion:
Just like radio didn't kill newspaper, tv didn't kill radio, and internet didn't kill tv, console gaming won't kill pc gaming. But there will be less games for PC as consoles are now quite powerfull and relativelly cheap. Crysis may be our only hope in that it will or may obligate PC users to upgrade their PC's into a more powerfull console (I doubt that will happen though).
In the end, consoles are just more popular.
