I think the ps4 would be announced as e3 2013 and releases at the end 0f 2014, i think the x box will be announced ant e3 2012.I dont consider wiiu as the next gen console. yes it does support 1080, but i think the next playstation or x box will have better than 1080p. Because these are already in hd and they need to invent something new so we can still say interested.So it can be used for family use, casual and hardcore gamer. Take X box as an example you have to pay to play online and its nearly worth it for the hardcore gamers, but for the casuals gamer paying £40 and and coming on the console only few times a year is a rip off. Playstation online security was not a good standard and peoples bank account details were stolen and now something similar is happening to the X box. The ps2 was at an affordable price and it had affordable game and the console was great and had a big impact in the industry. The next console have to be at least under £500 and the games should be 30-35 this will reduce pc gaming and increase console gaming. I was disappointed with Wiiu it wasnt any new or creative it was something that has been done before but the controller was different it was Dualshock3+Ipad= wiiu that doent actually mean a good thing. The wiiu needs more 3rd party support it does have great games like zelda(1 of fav) and mario (a lot of memories) but you need variety so every gamer is interested.

Uncharted 3 should of been mentioned. It had great graphics, top notch voice acting, good story, refined multiplayer, epic ship, plane and horse battle, the best hand to hand combat in franchise and great game play it was the one of the best or the best game this year
