I've never had those issues before and I was playing in 1080i at my girlfriends house when I got the game. I've never really heard about this problem either.
I honestly think that the voters who voted for the PS3 are retarded because it's gen is probably going to last beyond that of the 360 and the Wii. It may not have had the great start that everyone was hoping for but the truth is that the PS3 is technilogically superior and it will live beyond the next console war as well. It may be really high priced and there aren't a whole lot of great games on the system but there is MGS and Final Fantasy, there are even games that are on the 360 but run smoother and better on the PS3.
It really depends on the developers though. There might be a few games that come out that are just amazing; the only thing that really holds the PSP back though was the retarded choice to not include a second analog stick. I still just don't understand that
It's in the way that the system reads in the information. Motorstorm is not 22 GB by the way, or at least not from what I've read about it. Anyways though, the way that the PS3 reads the information on it's games is that it breaks it down into a bunch of tiny pieces and sends it to different parts of the Cell processor which in turn means that more data can be encoded. Most PS3 games run smoother and have a higher flat frame-rate than most 360 and Wii games. The 360 simply takes the data from the disc and runs it through the main processor and that's it.
It can play Halo 3, Mass Effect, cost less, and look cooler. Just because it doesn't do a whole lot different doesn't make it any less awesome. So go get an education and quite being a retarded Sony fanboy, your kind disgust me.
