After reading all these posts about Bear Grylls faking it I looked it up. Sure enough he did leave at night to go to a motel haha, which gives me even more respect for Les now. Even with all that I still like Man vs. Wild's shows but diffinately look at it different now. They may have accidentally mislead people about him actually shooting the whole show roughing it, but he's still doing his job of teaching survival skills for educational purposes (although some would get the average person hurt or killed, but thats your fault; you should know your own limits and not scale rocks). But since I now know that its hard to see the show the same. Its probably a better idea to watch survivorman because he's really out there alone and actually teaches you the right way to wait for help as long as possible. Even bear grylls in an interview said the best thing to do is just sit and wait for help. Knowing all this i'd probably have to change my vote to survivorman now. Both are still great shows though.

Haha, wow. Lotta heat on these posts. I have been torn between the two actually, but i like them both. I voted for Man vs. Wild because of all the military training and background for Bear (true his techniques would diffinately get me killed scaling rocks, but thats the only thing he does that i don't agree with). Survivorman on the other hand does carry his own equipment and is great as well, but some of Bears techniques on catching food and making traps seem better. The number one thing I hate about Survivorman is he doesn't show cutting open and cleaning whatever he catches because he doesn't want to gross anyone out and Bear shows it all, which in my opinion is useful knowledge to people who's never done it. Both are great though and have my respect. By the way i've never heard Bear sleeping in hotels and eating hot meals prepared for him when he's supposed to be roughing it in the woods before. Where's the evidence for that?

Dragon Ball Z for me. I love Batman but i've never really liked the animated series. Really don't watch either now, but used to love watching DBZ after school; TONS of action.

[QUOTE="kuraimen"]Rec Just stay away from the crappy Hollywood remake if you don't want to ruin the experience.KH-mixerX
Quarantine wasn't as bad as people made it out to be. It was a shot-by-shot remake after all.

I agree. I LOVED "Quarantine". I don't understand why everyone hated on it. Very creepy. Oh and "IT". That terrified me when I was younger. Though it does seem most horror movies nowadays are dumb.

I always thought it would be interesting if a console used a SD card or something as a format. It would up the system's reliability, lower hardware costs and size, and make for faster load times. But I think they are unrealistic in an HD/3D generation because it would likely cost too much to make the larger 16-32gb cards for games and we've already been on the disc format for too long.

Id like it all to be just downloadable HD games no physical disc.Right now thats where gaming is heading .Might take a while for the gamers to get use to it though but its definitely heading that way IMO

xboxmad12
One day it may all go to downloadable but I don't see that happening ANYWHERE in the near future (mainly because not everyone is connected to high speed net yet. (as i'm not) I imagine they'll have to go with blue-ray right? Or design a new media format for themselves (which is possible I suppose).

Do you think the next generation of xbox should go blu-ray, keep its hd-dvd, or use some other media form (if so what?)?

Personally I'm hoping Blu-ray.
