It has worse level design, worse build design, horrible PvP, and lackluster DLC.

Elden Ring is more like Dark Souls II than any other game.

Good Lord the gaming press sucks....

They are everything about the game's difficulty around the first damn levels........

ME2 - the worst game in the trilogy that everybody thinks is the best.

Bad main plot, crew don't relate to eachother, checklist game format, terrible implementation of morality, and planet scanning. Not to mention IT'S ENDING which fails to set up ME3 without DLC.

ME2 only works because of its characters and their missions.

@Archangel3371: I enjoyed the lack of final boss in ME3 after the ME2 final boss.

@Akriel_Boulve: Yet we have those options already.

And nothing that you wrote would be great storytelling.
